The Opportunity

Independence shouldn't mean going it alone.

Each firm in this network has built something valuable: market knowledge, local relationships, trusted clients and years of experience that cannot be manufactured by simply opening another corporate office.

The Affiliate Network connects those strengths without asking any of us to surrender what makes our individual firms valuable.

We're not trying to become one big brokerage. We're creating infrastructure that allows strong independent firms to operate with broader reach.
The Idea Is Simple

YOU KEEP THE RELATIONSHIP.
WE HELP EXTEND THE ASSIGNMENT.

A client can begin in one affiliate's market and continue receiving trusted local expertise wherever the assignment goes next.

What We're Building

A larger platform without becoming a larger bureaucracy.

01 / LOCAL

Protect local expertise.

The affiliate who knows the market remains the local expert. The network supports that expertise rather than replacing it.

02 / CONNECT

Connect opportunity.

Listings, tenant requirements, referrals and relationships become more useful when trusted firms can discover and activate them across markets.

03 / SCALE

Compete beyond the footprint.

Independent firms gain broader reach without pretending that any one firm needs an office in every market.

The Model

Local expertise becomes more valuable when it can travel.

Local Expertise Relationships, execution and knowledge inside each affiliate's home market.
+
Connected Infrastructure Property exposure, referral pathways, relationships and communication.
=
National Opportunity Broader capability without sacrificing independence.

First, I want to thank every one of you for being part of this Affiliate Network.

I've had the opportunity to talk with many of you individually, and the more conversations I have, the more convinced I am that there is something really valuable here.

Each of us has built a business around our own market, our own relationships and our own reputation. That local expertise is our strength.

And I think we have every reason to hold our heads high about that.

We don't need to look like one of the large publicly traded commercial real estate firms to compete with them.

In many cases, being independent is exactly what makes us better.

We're closer to our clients. We're closer to our markets. We can make decisions faster. We can be entrepreneurial. And we're able to provide the kind of personal service that can get lost inside a very large organization.

What we're trying to do with the Affiliate Network is connect those strengths.

Not replace your company. Not replace your brand. And certainly not take away the client relationships you've spent years building.

The idea is pretty simple:

You keep the client relationship. We help you extend the assignment.

One of the things we're beginning to show through the network is the companies and brands our members have represented.

Those logos matter because collectively they tell a much bigger story about the level of experience that already exists throughout this group.

The same thing applies to our property listings.

Whenever possible, I want a property represented by one of our affiliates to remain hosted on that affiliate's own website.

If somebody finds an affiliate listing through the network, I want that click to take them back to the firm actually representing that property.

That's good for the affiliate. It's good for their website. It's good for their SEO. And, most importantly, it's clear to the prospect who actually represents the property.

When an affiliate doesn't have a listing hosted on its own website, we can host it through the network. But that requires us to build it and then manually keep that information current.

Our goal is to automate as much of that process as possible.

Because this network isn't supposed to create more work. It should create leverage.

Automation and efficiency are going to be a big part of where we take this.

We should be able to connect listings, relationships, tenant requirements, referrals and opportunities across markets without everyone having to constantly send spreadsheets and emails back and forth.

And that's where this starts becoming much bigger than a property website.

Think about your existing clients.

Maybe you've represented that company for years in your market. Then one day they tell you they're looking at another city or another state.

Historically, that could mean handing them off to somebody you don't know, trying to find a broker through another network, or watching one of the national firms step in simply because they have an office there.

I think we can build a better option.

You know the client. Another affiliate knows the market. The Affiliate Network connects the two.

That allows all of us to provide a much broader level of service without pretending that any one of our firms needs to have an office in every city in the country.

And that is what excites me most about this.

We're not trying to become one big brokerage.

The Affiliate Network is built around the idea that high-quality independent firms can collaborate across markets without surrendering the independence that makes them effective.

We can compete nationally while remaining local.

We can share opportunities while protecting relationships.

And we can use technology and automation to give independent firms some of the scale that has traditionally belonged to the largest companies in our industry.

So when you're talking with your clients, don't think only about the work happening inside your market.

Ask where else they're growing. Ask where they're leasing. Ask where they're buying. Ask where they're developing. Ask where they might need help next.

Because now you have a group of people around the country that can help you answer that question.

That's the opportunity in front of us.

Local experts. Independent firms. National reach.

Thank you again for being part of this.

I'm excited about what we've already started building, and I'm even more excited about where we can take it together.

Put the Network to Work

Don't just belong to the network. Use it.

Keep your listings current. Tell us where your clients are going next. Share opportunities where another trusted local expert could help you deliver more.
